The challenge

With a strong global vision to close the gap to zero, and continually reduce safety and environmental incidents and near misses, BAT’s global EHS leaders wanted to refresh and reinvigorate their strategy.

Our solution

We developed and facilitated a three-day strategy session to help bring clarity to their priorities for the coming year.

The workshop bought global EHS leaders together for a fast paced and interactive strategy session. Designed around exploring real incidents and near misses, understanding root causes, identifying risk management strengths and weaknesses, and sharing best practice.

The workshop enabled the group to identify the priorities and enablers that will support the business in accelerating its progress in reducing environmental and safety incidents and near misses.

The outcome

Workshop outputs were summarised in a one-page strategy that now forms the foundation of all global EHS activities, helping to ensure that EHS priorities and resources are aligned to closing the gap to Zero.
